Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) was looking for a strategic sales and marketing partner to help them address a significant decline in overall occupancy across their 12 Continuing Care Retirement Communities. CRC and Bluespire began planning what would be a three-year turnaround goal to get all of the communities above 90% occupancy.

Engagement

Bluespire initiated a sales training curriculum and helped increase sale-ability by advising on residential, operational and contract updates. Through an aggressive online marketing strategy that included PPC and SEO, they produced a record number of inquiries at a drastically reduced cost-per-lead.

Impact

CRC generated $86.9 million in net new entrance fees on 885 move-ins in over two years. In addition to the successful financial numbers, CRC saw overall occupancy across the organization increase by nearly almost 5%. As a result of increased occupancy and a substantial increase in entrance fees and monthly service fees, CRC had their BBB+ rating from Fitch and S&P affirmed.
